Frequently Asked Questions

Most Popular Questions

What is Stiq?

Stiq is a Spanish brand of vitamin patches and pimple patches for your daily care routine. The vitamin patches are made up of Energy, Focus, Sleep and Relax.

What are vitamin patches?

Vitamin patches are products applied to the skin to bring certain ingredients into a daily routine, as an alternative to taking them in pill form. Their effectiveness depends on the specific formula and consistent use, not on the format itself.

Do vitamin patches really work?

They don't replace a healthy lifestyle or act as medication. They're a practical format for staying consistent with certain ingredients. Brands like Stiq formulate their patches with pharmaceutical grade criteria, but no patch guarantees the same result for everyone.

How do you use Stiq patches?

Apply them directly to clean, dry skin, on the area indicated for the product, and leave them on for the time specified on the packaging.

What sets Stiq apart from other patches on the market?

We combine a formula developed with pharmaceutical grade criteria with a product designed for real, everyday use: fast, discreet and free of complicated routines.

Are Stiq patches suitable for all skin types?

Yes, they're formulated to minimize the risk of irritation. If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend checking each product's details first.

Where can I buy Stiq?

Directly here, with shipping across mainland Spain.

What's the difference between Energy, Focus, Sleep and Relax?

Each one is designed for a different moment of the day: Energy for those energy dips, Focus to help you concentrate, Sleep for your rest routine, and Relax to manage built up tension. You can use one or several, depending on what you need that day.

Pimple Patches

What is a hydrocolloid patch?

A hydrocolloid patch is a dressing that creates a moist environment on the skin, absorbs fluid and impurities, and is used both for minor wounds and for treating pimples and blemishes.

How long should I leave a pimple patch on?

Between 6 and 8 hours, or overnight. You'll know it's working when the patch turns white as it absorbs the impurity.

Can I wear makeup over a Starwear patch?

Yes. Once the patch is properly stuck to the skin, you can apply makeup over it as usual, although many people prefer to leave it visible.

Does it work on pimples that haven't surfaced yet and hurt under the skin?

The patch keeps protecting the area and stops you from picking at it, but you'll notice the effect more slowly. That type of pimple needs more time to mature, with or without a patch.

Can I use more than one patch at a time?

Yes, you can place one patch on each affected area. There's no fixed limit on how many you can use at once, although each one covers a single spot.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Hydrocolloid is a widely used material known for being well tolerated. Even so, if your skin is very reactive, we recommend testing a single patch on a small area first before using several at once.

Does it leave a mark or sticky residue when removed?

Applied to clean, dry skin, it won't leave residue. If it feels sticky, peel it off slowly and clean the area with warm water.

Can I shower, exercise or sleep with it on?

Yes. Once applied to clean, dry skin, it holds up against water, sweat and normal everyday friction, day or night.

How many patches come in each pack?

Each pimple patch pack comes with 30 units.

Can I buy Starwear Pimple Patch at a pharmacy?

For now, Starwear is only available on the Stiq online store, where you can also choose between the 4 colors and mix them.

Can I reuse the same patch several times?

No. Each patch is designed for single use. Once it has absorbed fluid, it loses its ability to keep doing so, so it's best to replace it with a new one.

Vitamin Patches

Do vitamin patches really work?

The principle of absorption through the skin (transdermal) isn't new or exclusive to vitamins. It's been used for years in other pharmacy products. A vitamin patch applies that same principle to ingredients like melatonin, caffeine or magnesium, avoiding the dose loss that happens during digestion.

Why would I choose a patch over a pill?

Because you skip digestion, which is where a pill loses part of its dose, and because it doesn't depend on remembering to take it with water or after eating.

Is it suitable for any skin type?

Yes, it's designed to be safe to use even on sensitive skin.

Can I wear it in the shower or at the gym?

Yes. It resists sweat and water without peeling off. Just make sure to apply it on dry skin first and leave it on for a few minutes before it gets wet.

Can I combine several patches on the same day?

Yes, they're designed to be combined. For example, Focus in the morning and Relax in the afternoon.

What are the possible side effects?

Since it's applied externally with gradual release, the risk of adverse effects is lower than with an oral pill. But as with any wellness product, if you notice skin irritation or have a pre-existing medical condition, consult a professional before using it.

Where should I apply the patch?

On a clean, dry area with little hair. The arm, shoulder or collarbone work well. Avoid applying cream to that area beforehand.

What is a vitamin patch?

A vitamin patch is an adhesive placed on the skin that gradually releases vitamins or other wellness ingredients, which are absorbed directly through the skin instead of through digestion.

Are vitamin patches more effective than pills?

They don't replace pills in every case, but they avoid the dose loss that happens during digestion, offering a steadier release throughout the day.

How long does the effect of a vitamin patch last?

It depends on the product, but the usual release is gradual, lasting up to 8 hours of continuous use.

Can I combine several vitamin patches at once?

Yes, as long as they're formulated to be compatible with each other, like the Sleep, Energy, Focus and Relax range from Stiq.
